You mean Del the Funky Homosapien? Deltron 3030 is a project with Dan the Automator.

I probably like Keith more as an MC, he says some crazy shit. The style of some of his music is pretty psychedelic too. He's got a little more hip hop cred since he's not just from the city of hip hop, but the borough. Ultramagnetic MC's were there at the beginning of modern rapping. Del came up listening to them so he's Keith's son.

But honestly, I'm not as familiar with Del's work beyond Deltron. Whereas I know a number of Keith albums. But yeah, I like Keith better.

I just love it when some Millennial thinks that Del is soooo original, then you play him some Kool Keith from 1989, and watch him have to admit he mistook a derivative for the original...  as Millennials often do...

Plus Del got his start soft-shoeing with the Gorillaz, who totally suck live. I mean, total studio band.

Understand that if you put Automator under any MC, he's gonna sound 'dope'. I listen to Del sometimes. He's got two good CD's. Keith has dozens of full CDs you can listen to without skipping a track. He's just got more and higher quality content, and also great taste in beat production. He's even told stories about times when he and other rappers were given the same choice of beats, and the other rappers all picked whack shit, so he was like: 'This isn't even a matter of me simply knowing the right people: y'all's taste is just really whack.'

Ive heard of Kool Keith but Del aka Deltron has got some sick lyrics. Hes a visionary. In Deltron 3030 he created a whole "landscape" future for the listeners.

Has Kool Keith done that?

Del is also in the group Hieroglyphics, which included Souls of Mischief, the guys that did one of the biggest “underground” tracks ever 93 til infinity. They shout him out in that song.
