The relics album.  A good starter for a long night.  Sucks one in.  Favorite song, for those with a longer attention span, lyrics, She would very much like to go to a show, time is moving rather slow, arriving late and she is looking as cross as can be, a be, a be, a be, a be, I open the door, to an empty room.  I skipped a part, lol.

The fire song and jazz type song is pretty good as well.  When you don't want to hang out and you are than happy in front of a fireplace with your women.  It's also good if you can't smoke ciggies or marijuana and get a fire going and just blow it up the chimney.  Times gone, stuck in an apartment.

I went to a planetarium for midnight showings of darkside of the moon and it was so amusing to me to see people in line.  Waiting for it to open.  One guy so stoned with bloodshot eyes and you could just sense his discomfort.  Just wanting to get in afraid of police and people.  I would go on LSD and did not care.  PARANOIA.

They would start it off with learning to fly when you are entering and the lights are on and seeing that then when the lights went down to a packed house, and when that bass and music starts and the lights go out, was amazing.

And people knew because you laugh with your brother or friend but no one cared.  Think it is different now.  I mean why the fuck do people care?  No one is coming in to shoot up a Pink Floyd presentation.

I’ve never really listened to Pink Floyd as songs. Part of the reason I like them so much is how much I like the fluidity of the albums, it’s an experience when you do it that way. Like a dope playlist you’ve been working at for a long time, to get it just right. And just like a dope playlist, some of those songs sound way different without the one before to lead up to it. Animals for instance is just strange to listen to any other way than as a full album, absolutely ridiculous. And The Wall is, IMO, very well designed to go with the visual and overall metaphor of the movie.

I’m a Dark Side nerd. I have the tat to prove it. :lol:

Sooo true!
Pink Floyd is a top 5 band for me.  So Fucking underrated too.  I mean I know they sell a lot of branded t-shirts, and stickers and posters, but something tells me half of these people don’t even listen to or really appreciate their music.
