I wasn't alive then, but I don't think Europeans introduced slavery to Africa.  I didn't take his statement as a justification for slavery, just a frustrated clarification that Europeans weren't just landing and kidnapping random bystanders as the norm.  The narrative of the evil Europeans corrupting the innocent African's is a dangerous one when the truth is that Africans were raping and enslaving each other (as well as Europeans) and still do to this day.

But yea, the trans-atlantic slave trade & chattel slavery = super fucked up.  I think most people agree. 

What's unfortunate is that people will obsess over the transatlantic slave trade while ignoring the millions of people that are still slaves in 2017.  It's also strange how people will ignore all the times white people have been enslaved and act like it can't happen again.

I mean I don't know a single person that obsesses over the transatlantic slave trade.  It's a class in high school maybe, and black culture is a thing that is supported, and personally I think that is justified at this point still.  Nobody is saying you have to embrace black culture, or that black people have to embrace black culture, but it's a significant part of American history on many levels and deserves to be understood.  If you want to focus on the times that white people have been enslaved, then ok, but honestly that's a bit more vague than black enslavement in America.

Maybe you should study about the enslavement of Europeans so you can get an accurate picture of the reality you live in.  Hint: Millions of Europeans were enslaved by Africans and Arabs.

Nah I'm not into that lifestyle bud.  There's already been Shroomery members who have left because they believe white people are the devil and will be enslaved.  But go ahead and hate the messenger.  I didn't make these videos or invade Europe with the Barbarians or Ottomans.  I'm just pointing out history and present day occurrences.
