Aquarium pump size?

I am looking into making a pmp now and was wondering how big of a aquarium pump i need? I was planning on making using two 77 qt. container with lava stones and was hoping to use only one aquarium pump. Will this work out should i be putting two airstones in each container or will they both get enough air with one pump and one large 10-16inch air stone (haven't decided yet but if they make a difference in size let me know which one to get). I also plan on using lava stones instead of geolite.

The bigger the better, but really any will do you fine.
Buy the one that best fits your budget.

One thing to think about is expansion. If you
buy a larger size pump now, you can add other air lines
for other ontainers if needed. Saves buying another one later.

Listen to Loki on this one. One good pump for the PMP or the one I suggest in your case would be the profile 5500. You can find it at petco. 5500
