Are you the kind of person that takes a picture of what they are about to eat and post it online?
    #24793331 -

Alright. We've all seen this 10000 times. People on Facebook that post pictures of what they are about to eat... Stupid and useless, but hey, some people think it makes them look as if they have a life.

I'll make this poll so that anonimity can be kept.

Do you post pics of food online just because? Without reason, without being asked to do it by someone interested?
Well do ya!

If it's something special, yeah. Like most of my garden produce I posted online, even prepared stuff like jars of homemade pickles. Whenever I do something "new" like the first time I made sausage I usually end up posting on my Facebook. There was another forum I was on (was a video game forum, not a food forum) where a few of us were really into making homemade pizzas and we'd constantly share our newest creations. Stuff like that. I don't take pictures of my food at restaurants or just average dinners. To post online anyways, I do take pics of average dinners to send to my wife occasionally when she's not here and I get done cooking, so she can decide if she wants to eat what I made and/or to tell her it's ready.

I don’t want to get back up but I have to so it might as well be today.
Nothing appeals to me no one feels like me, I’m too busy being calm to disappear.
I’m in no shape to be alone contrary to the shit that you might hear.

Idk, same concept for sunset photos. Not like you dont know everyone has seen a million sunsets before, but sometimes a sunset just looks good enough to take a picture of

No, and I don't use Facebook any more so I don't really see it either. Once in a while I'll hear something second-hand about this militant vegan in-law posting meal photos for an excuse to talk more about veganism.

No unless its really fancy. the last time i did it was a huge tabledecorated with tons of fruit and stuff and a chocolate fountain. i had to throw that in my snapchat story.

but who cares? some people like sharing pics of food with each other.

No I hate those fucks.  Posting pics of a bunch of food I can't eat!

People are insecure.  They have to post every fucking thing looking for a like to feel good about them selves.  Society is in trouble.

No I am not. In fact even when I cook even if it's beautiful and fancy I don't care to share with people. However on Facebook it never hurts with ladies showing how you can cook. Otherwise it's pointless imo

I would only do this if I was at a really nice restaurant with a tasting menu or something. I have a friend that posts his cafeteria food from college on fb all the time and I just don't get it.... overcooked spaghetti from a can? Just why?

Yeah I agree there's special occasions that call for a picture. You don't want to be 70 y/o explaining how awesome your food was on a trip of a lifetime to your kids or something like that and have 0 pictures because you were so anti picture and cool lol

Where is my "sometimes" option? I'm only guilty of this on special occasions, while eating unusual foods, or just aesthetically pleasing dishes. I did not take a picture of my cereal this morning.
