This virus comes as an email attachment with "your" email address showing on the "from" note....it looks deceivingly legitimate and really fucks things up...especially if your business is on a network of computers. It attaches to all "word" files and "adobe" files so you can no longer view them.

it hit all of our excel customer database files which was the worst. At least we had paper backups but it was a lot of manual reinputting. For larger systems I can see why they would pay the crazy ransom.

Once this happened to me was caught off guard when I took some acid . I lost everything on there
