osiris ransomware virus

just got hit with this bullshit ...infected all my documents files.....says you gotta pay some dude off in bitcoins to get them to remove it....lost all my word docs and pics plus other files I had stored there. Anybody know anything about this?

my bosses computer at work just got hit with this too. Fucking bullshit. Not going to pay those fuckers though. Just going to wipe the computer, reboot the last backup and deal with the data loss.

I'm just gonna buy a new computer , hire an IT guy to come in and transfer whatever info he can to the new one. This old piece of shit runs on xp. Problem is, I run my business accounting through this computer.

Be careful...the email attachment came from my website server with my website's address on it. That's the only reason that I opened it.

dude, you got hit with that as well? it got sent away in masses yesterday with office@yourdomain.com account. Crazy shit.

You can pay the ransom to get the key, but i really suggest deleting the source file before it gets worse. hopefully you dont connect to a server.

I pretty sure my boss opened an email attachment. OP said it was spoofing his company email so that's why he got fooled.

a spoofed email address containing a document that looks like it has been scanned from a service center copier.

people think its from hr and open it. it then starts encrypting all the files on the hd with crazy formats.

if you get this and your computer is on a network, and it doesnt get caught quickly it will keep on moving through the server.

nasty fucking shit man.
