As for the thread itself, I've been there I know it sucks. I'm actually on break now because I over did it. The last roll I did was with a new source and it was WAY better than the first times I did it. So I was already using it too often and I got some really pure shit that gave me one hell of a trip. Next couple of days really sucked.

It wasn't from rolling, haven't come across any mdma for quite some time, and the last two times I'm fairly certain it wasn't even mdma. Just months of tripping consistently and finally forcing myself to take a long needed break. It's like the world is loosing its color and I'm loosing my ability to think clearly or positively. It's like I'm incapable of feeling happy right now. I was in the zone at least once a week for around 8 months. Some months I was doing it more, some months less. But it has definitely taken a toll on my body's ability to regulate serotonin. I just want to even out again.

Ah okay. I've been there too though. When I really like a new drug I tend to over do it for awhile then realize I need to dial it back. It didn't quite make me depressed when I stopped the "lsd" I was taking about every week but everything did seem dimmer and less interesting, settled in a funk where I didn't really want to do anything because everything was so much better on "lsd" and it was just a waste of time to bother with it without it.

"lsd" = RC sold as LSD.

This was mainly with lsd in my situation, a handful of mushroom experiences, and more recently psilocin analogues. I've also gone from smoking multiple times a day to smoking a handful of times a week gradually over the course of these months. This is honestly the least amount of ganja smoking I've done since I was just getting into high school, albeit this change has been gradual so I'm not sure if that is a part of my current self described chemical imbalance. It's probably the over use of serotonergic/dopaminergic psychedelics.

What really helps is eating tons of raw fruits and veggies, drinking clean water, and watching comedy.  It's hard to laugh at stuff in that state, but once in a while a joke gets through and it makes all the difference.  The fruits and veggies are key.

I have been distancing myself from music production since I currently don't have a nice space to do it.. I always had a studio before where I could sit in peace by myself working on and listening to music. I need that in my life again. That place where I could unwind. At this point though, I'm not even listening to music anymore :frown: that was something I did in my studio in front of the monitors. I feel like I've missed so much.. so many releases from people I know and love.. I've sort of dropped off the face of the scene. All the people in my life thinking I'm not capable of being a musician... fuck those people.

OP, this is why I avoid MDxx drugs now. I abused my serotonin receptors too much in years past, and it made me feel mentally incapacitated, depressed, and overall shitty.

I was ignorant and irresponsible with those drugs, and paid the price.

Someday when the time is right I will eat some MDMA or MDA again, but I'm much happier and well rounded without those substances for now. (Yes I know MDXX isn't what caused it for you, I read your posts.)

Take a break. Eat healthy, change your lifestyle and keep your head up. In time you will feel alot better, trust me.

I wouldn't be using ANY feel good substances if I were you. Not even kava. I think it makes you feel shitty instead of relaxed because of what the substance would do to your chemicals when you're healthy cannot be maintained or balanced when you've depleted those chemicals.


Try doing natural every day methods to feel good. Exercise being a big one. Eating right will help give your body the nutrients it needs to heal, exercise will stimulate your body's immune system and healing capabilities.

Stop putting hope in substances.  Meditate on better thoughts and don't deny the dark side negativity.  We usually deny that part.  It doesn't have to be anything mor than a thought unless we deny it, then it's a downward spiral of hell and denying truth.
