Sooooooooo whoever suggested that my homeless buddy wouldn't be there was right.
I went by twice just to make sure and he had split. He could have been asked to leave for loitering, taken a bus, or just straight up scammed me for Cash.
Dunno. Thanks for the concern though guys. Reading yalls comments was entertaining. Sorry for dissapearing for a little while.

Wait, so he asked you for money for the DMV that day and then a ride to use it the following day or was the money completely unrelated?

Regardless of whether or not you were scammed or what he used the money for, you helped another human being with the best of intentions. That's really all that matters. I think it would have been worse if you had been jaded, refused to help, and he had really needed that help for whatever reason.

Good for you for trying to do the right thing!

Few would do it to a hobo. Moon, that might give you aids and you die. Plus the stink.

Give someone a little money but do not put yourself at risk. In many cases the money does no good, just feeds their habit. They would rather buy cigs or booze than food. I've seen lots of poor people and they all seem to have phones and cigs, no money for bills but plenty for that.

I see all these threads talking about koods sig.  I never got to see it.  What did I miss?

I think some of you were discussing shock devices. 

Tasers have barbs that go into the skin and wires connected to the controller and deliver a pretty debilitation shock and are used by C**s.

Stun guns are the cheap affordable shock devices readily available at most self-defense stores & are not usually carries by C**s.

Just letting folks know that those are two completely different devices.
