If people wanna do it, that's on them. I could see something like that being useful even in certain situations. Imagine never needing your wallet or keys again. Kinda cool. Forcing people to do it though? Not so cool. Eventually it will just be the new, hip thing to do and all the kids will have it and we'll be the old men shaking our fists and wearing RF resistant headgear.

But yeah man why not just carry an ID with the chip in it? Making it go into the skin is so unnecessary and obviously its about more than just convenience. If the government is so fucking concerned about my convenience then they can start with lowering my damn taxes.

Its funny they wont let me own a gun in MA yet they want me to trust them with a foreign chip inside me..fuck off

I'd love to have this done.

Imagine never carrying your car keys, house keys, etc.  No wallet, easy verification, always having important records with me. It would be great.

Wow. You guys disgust me. Im not even going to argue this because you guys know how stupid this is.

To ride the train/bus you carry a card and quickly scan it on the machine. Its quick and easy. Having that put inside me makes no difference whatsoever when it comes to convenience. Why not put the damn chip into our IDs and call it a day? Obviously world domination is the goal.

What meaningful information can be more easily gained by a chip compared to other means?

Most carry a cell phone, that can be tracked, followed, etc. When you get on the bus, there's a camera taking video. It's not about replacing a bus pass, it's about replacing my license, credit card, and everything I carry with a simple chip.

Everything you both mentioned can be done with a phone or a chip inside an ID.

When you have it in you, it can be hacked..traced..etc. you can destroy a phone or not carry an ID but you cant chop off your hand if you change your mind..

I said i wouldnt argue so im done. The argument is an insult to human intelligence.
