French Biscuits
    #24442457 -

I come from Prince Edward Island, where despite many beliefs, we consumed cubes that have and probably still to this day grew in the forest patch, beyond the forest opening a mile from our house, as the sea hit the other side of our house, and bays filled with fields of cows and potatoes.
But yes i said wild cubes, anyways i digress,
My mother used to make these biscuits that just smelled fantastic.
I cannot express how the smell and taste was until you feel it yourself.
But the first time i had them i was coming out of the forest just peaking from eating earlier and the visual concept of looking back down a quarter mile long driveway towards the ocean at a four bedroom bungalow inbetween a cow field and a potato field, with fresh smell of sea salt from the water and the biscuits my mother made.....wow....sorry about the story!!!

3 tbsp white sugar
3 tbsp traditional yeast
3 1/2 Cups of warm water
9 cups of flour
1 tbsp salt
1 cup lard

Set oven at 400.
Dissolve the sugar into the warm water.
Stir in the yeast and set aside until the yeast rises off water. Make sure you use warm water and not hot or lukewarm.  Yeast has to dissolve acceptably.
Stir salt into flour and then cut lard into flour. Cut means to take small chunks into mixing.
Now take yeast mixture and add and knead.
Cover with towel and let rise.
Cut into sections and roll out.
Put into already pre heated oveb for 20 mins or golden brown.

Take one immediately and cut and add some butter.
Email me with proof of oragasm and i will send free Halloween candy from 1999.
Enjoy

What kind of flour? I'm assuming just AP flour?

This sounds very similar to other recipes I've seen that make OMFG amazing biscuits.

These are the TEKs I use. They're all as cheap and easy as possible, just like your mom.
