introducing first timers...

Ive tripped three times now and even though I'm not an expert, I still undestand the way they work and am very calm and easygoing when I do them. I've never had a spastic bad trip yet. My girlfriend wants to try them with me and I really wanna do them with her. The thing is I really want her to have a good experience on them but because of when I plan to do them I'm not going to be able to have a sitter. Im worried I wont be able to handle it if she gets scared cause Im not terribly experienced myself. Is there any reccomendations anyone could give me?
She has smoked plenty of pot and bugged before; not that pot and shrooms even compare but she isnt a complete rookie to having her head wander away. She is kinda spastic but not at an extreme; she just is crazy ina good way and she wants to try them but is a little uneasy about aspects of where she does the trip.

I think as long as you guys are comfortable together, and keep the dosage low, you'll probably be in good shape  :yesnod:. Just make sure that you are somewhere where you don't have to worry about being around authority figures, or being loud and stuff. Sometimes kinda spastic girls get all loud and goofy on shrooms, so just make sure that you're in a situation where that won't be a problem.

Dank has the right idea. Start with a low dose. If she likes it, try going a little bit higher on the dose the next time around.

yep, low dose is always a good start, and just be in a good mood and have a good environment. do what makes you most comfortable.

Like everyone else has said already...

Yea.  Low dose.  And make sure you are both genuinely calm and in a good/happy mindset the day you do it, avoid additional sources of mindfuckery (like watching "Waking Life" for example *grin*), have toys around to play with and pretty things to look at (if you got a pet, that's a plus).  And quite importantly, make sure that both you and she read the faqs here and at Erowid about what to expect, especially the psychedelic crisis faq.

And have a blast!

I introduced my girlfriend to mushrooms about 2 years ago, and it was the best trip both of us ever had.
We laid in a park thru the sunset and into night listening thru 2 pairs of headphones with a splitter into a CD player of some great trip tunes. We watched the stars, we watched a satellite go by (man that freaked us out)...
Just inform her before hand. Make her read stuff online, like the Experience FAQ's here at the Shroomery. Tell her of times you've had, tell her what to expect, how it comes on, how to control it, how to not have a bad trip, etc etc. Tell her everything you can think of to prepare her.
The less confused and startled she is, the more fun she'll have.

Have fun man, let us know how it went, what y'all did!

Thats really good, that means she is free and light hearted by nature, just make sure her crazyness is focused in a postive way... which I'm guessing it usually is.  Dont get carried away with warning her and making her read all types of shit, that'll just make her get really focused on how to not freak out instead of just letting herself go with the trip.  Less frustration = better trip.
IMHO crazy spastic people are the people shrooms were meant for in a way.  They enjoy shrooms to the max... I'm like this, especially when shrooming and amongst my friends I seem to be the one enjoying the trip in every way possible.  Have fun :thumbup:

What do you mean by this? :nut: If she's just crazy then NP :wink: , but if she's prone to depression then be wary!

My advice is have a chilled out day to make sure your relaxed, then dose at dusk!
