What would Kerry do?
    #2431630 - 03/14/04 04:53 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

Instead of asking "what would Jesus do?" let's ask "what would Kerry do?" Inasmuch as the man has basicly not answered a single question about what he would do as president (well he did say he would have supported the thug Aristede but he didn't say how) everything here will be speculation. Let us propose questions and try to figure out his responses. Just to start, I'll propose the first one.

What, Senator Kerry, will you do, if anything, about the fact that a great many Americans are concerned about the fact that corporations are using cheap foreign labor to keep the costs of their products, which Americans buy, down? Do you think that all consumers should pay more for their goods and services so that a small group of people will keep their jobs?

Feel free to propose any question you like for the Senator, he is as available to us as to anyone else.

He's not Bush. That's all I care about. I'd rather have Screech from Saved By The Bell in office than Bush.

Simple. He'd waffle, change his answer depending on the day, and kiss the UN's ass.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. I'd rather have Screech too, but not Kerry.

Anyway, next question senator, You have declared that you are against same sex marriage.
When the Supreme Court declares that denying the right to marriage between any two consenting adults to be discriminatory, will you support a constitutional amendment to outlaw same-sex marriage?

I think basically his platform is "Hey, I won't be George Bush!"

I don't think Kerry will do things much differently than Bush. Kerry is pretty much like George Bush, but where Bush is a national socialist, Kerry's more of a international communist. Where Bush uses the military to advance the interests of certain Americans, Kerry will use it to do the bidding of the certain internationalists (like those comprising the den of thieves known as the U.N.). The only good thing about a Kerry presidency, besides him not being Bush, is that we may end up with opposing parties controlling the legislative and executive branches. This may slow down the growth of government which has taken off under Bush. When we have two different groups of assholes fighting over political spoils, the average American's freedoms seem more secure than when one group of assholes controls everything.

My question to Senator Kerry is this. As president what will you do to restore the U.S. government to the scope and limits laid out in the U.S. Constitution?

To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

As far as I can tell his platform is..........."I won't be anyone." He enlisted because he knew he'd be drafted, he's a gotten rich marrying wealthy women, and he's never had a real job. At no point in his life has he ever supported himself and had to make a living.

I used to think that it was best that the government be split, and for exactly the reasons you speak of. But I see bad shit in the world and we aint it.

Anyway, next question Senator, In light of the perceived failures of the CIA, and the votes that you have made to cut their funding and to limit the contact that they can have with sordid elements, even if said elements might have useful information, what would you do to improve the situation?

Kerry would assure us that it was a matter of great concern to him, and that it was on the forefront of his platform. All of this would have content zero, and take anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes... depending on how much camera time he figured he could milk it for. It's a pretty sad forecast for an election.

Thank you all so much :heartpump: :heartpump: :heartpump: :heartpump:

Next question, Senator, Where, exactly, do you stand on the common decency issue?  How can you reconcile a stance in which the exposure of Janet Jackson's breast is more offensive and hurtful to children than the proliferation of impotence medicine ads at the Super Bowl?  Is this more offensive than saying *shit* repeatedly in a South Park (cable) show?  And should cable content be constrained in any way by broadcast standards?

Did you read the whole thing?  The picture of him at an anti-war rally with Jane Fonda(the pic that's not fake) was before the infamous "Hanoi Jane" incident.

Next question:

Senator Kerry, please answer the following questions:

1.  Did you have sex with that woman?

2.  What is the meaning of the word, 'is'?

I hope he answers the same way Clinton should've answered:  None of your damn business!
