Do You Dirtbike?

After months of trying to get my dirtbike a front rim,  I finally got one on my bike and ready to ride again!
Just wondering if any of you guys/girls ride dirtbikes? Or any motorcycle for that matter? If so share your ride! Also your adventures!!

I had one for a brief period (a long damn time ago). It's a long/stupid story but basically I got the bike and was supposed to get the vehicle/trailer to take it to ride afterwards and never did. So I ended up selling it.

I miss my bike, like A LOT. I only got to actually take it real off roading once, I was mostly stuck to riding it around our neighborhood (and there's not a lot interesting to "ride on" around here)

It was nothing really special but I made it pretty unique (at least I didn't know anyone else with a similar bike) if my wife remembers I know somewhere she has pics of it. It was a 125CC four stroke china bike, basically a Honda clone. Originally it had black plastic trim and light grey frame/forks/handlebars etc. I ended up taking the entire bike apart, completely stripped so I could sand and paint it (never even owned/road/worked on a bike before, I did not use instructions, but yes, everything went back where it was supposed to and it was the same as if it had never been taken apart. I just winged the whole damn thing). I painted the frame and stuff (left the plastic) I chose a metallic deep bluish color. Was not happy with the results. After a week of thinking about it I decided fuck that and did the whole thing over again, this time in neon green. It came out perfectly.

I wrecked it on my first day :lol:. I wasn't warned about new tires being slippery. I laid it down but I somehow managed to be on top of it.

I am obsessed and i direly need one. want one again. Rode for 7 years but its been maybe 4 or 5 since i have had my own.

God i miss it.

Nothing wrong with a little Chinese bike..  What I started on actually!! Still have it. planning on putting a new motor in it and restoring it, my father bought me and the other siblings the bike..  So im not going to sell it..  Just make it mint condition! And Im actually planning on racing, when I upgrade to a newer bike..
Don't know what I'm more excited for. Getting out for a mushroom hunt this season, or going for a ride on the bike!!!

Loving the CR250!! Need myself a two stroke, I currently have a 01 yz250f and a 2004 crf150f ( which is practically the girlfriends bike that I bought)  will be going down today to get a tube for my second bike, then me and the missus can go for a spin!

Was the bike disassembeled for the frame to be painted? Or was it all taped of really good?

I just recently sold my Yamaha YZ450

Before that I had a Banshee but got rid of that too.  I was having problems with some of the people in my neighborhood because of it, saying it was too loud lol, I even had some of them chase me down in their vehicles and I would just rip away and flip a U turn and zip back to the crib and hide it.  Only one person ever got me, and that's because as I was flying away from them, I ran out of gas lol  :facepalm3:  and during that time I couldn't have any attention on my house, so that was a wrap.

I fucking loved that Banshee.  The dirt bike was cool too but I would pick up another Banshee in a heart beat if I didn't have so much else going on atm.


I'll probably wait until harvest in the fall and pick one up during winter time and store it.  Unless I come across a good deal before then.  That's when you always find the best deals though for things like that. Dirt bikes, four wheelers, street bikes etc.


Now that the weather is getting nice again, I would really love to get something to rip around on.

I completely took it apart. Like even the little rubber piece on the shift pedal got removed so the whole thing could be painted solid.

My wife might have pictures of it all taken apart.. Lol. I did it in our bedroom which aggravated her. It was the only place I really had. Don't have a garage and it was going to be in pieces for days.

The banshee is one bad ass bike! Only seen one in my life though..
And it seized up before I could see it hit the beautiful powerband! Only cause they let some bloke jet the carbys saying he knew how too! But I always doubted him.  And those 200cc bikes are pretty good especially yours Shroomslip ..  Was riding one around work the other day..  Power amazed me for a pitbike!!

Someday I will get another bike and a truck damnit. I live in Texas, I know there are a lot of good places to ride in my area. I'd be getting something bigger though. I wouldn't say my bike was under powered for me but there wasn't much room to grow on, either. Once I started getting comfortable on it I found myself wanting more.
