I guess I already made this thread before but let the funk commenceth anyways!

Jiro Inagaki & Soul Media - Funky Stuff

Super smooth funky jazz, been digging this album a lot lately. Really groovy with some epic horns :crazy2:

:crazy2:

--------------------
Don't worry about me, I've got all that I need. And I'm singing my song to the sky

You know how it feels, With the breeze of the sun in your eyes. Not minding that time's passing by

I've got all and more, My smile, just as before. Is all that I carry with me

I talk to myself, I need nobody else. I'm lost and I'm mine, yes I'm free

I always love classical influences in other styles of music.

Here is some funky/ jazzy world music:

Osibisa in Sweden 1972

Osibasa was one of the first popular world music groups I believe, really amazing rhythm section and horns :awesomenod:

:awesomenod:

And here is some funky German jazz fusion:

KLAUS DOLDINGER~ BACK TO BRASIL

You want the fonc? Try some Naughty Professor. Saw them for the first time last summer at a tiny festival. It was pouring down rain and they played for a crowd of me and 3 other people. Played like the barn was burning and the ship was sinking. I fell in love.

On storing pedro tea...

Brewmaster: Well, the mescaline will still be in there, but I'd be afraid of it conjealing and trying to escape after it grew in size from eating all the other shit in my fridge, and possibly my dogs if it got out.

Pithlit: sentient drugs, now that is an idea ...

OneMoreRobot: Idea? It's a fuckin' reality. You know Salvia? Nigga stole my TV.

Groovy jazz like that album is some of my favorite tripping music, it's just so positive and mentally stimulating. Gets me super pumped up :awesomenod:

:awesomenod:

Here is some of my favorite groovy jazz:

T-SQUARE - Explorer - Session '98

T-Square Sailling The Ocean Session 98'

I listened to Sailing The Ocean a lot when my last dog was nearing the end of her life, now it always makes me think of her
