At first blush it seems absurd. His defense is basically that none of the young people take him seriously, to them he is just something to make fun of- and he knows it, so he plays in to it for the lulz. Which, after I think about it for a while.... could totally be true... I mean, think about it- who DOES take Alex Jones seriously? Almost NOBODY. Even self-proclaimed red-pills consider him a nutjob. Only a few special case weirdos believe what he is saying is true. Like 95%+ of people just make fun of him.


My ex girlfriend took Alex Jones VERY seriously. She realized that he was totally off the wall, but she figured his song and dance routine was a way to slip real information past the censors, a sort of inverted confidence game. If you think that sounds crazy, you are correct.

I've only meet one person who took Alex Jones serious and he was hardcore crazy as fuck. Hoarded guns and ammunition and prepped daily for armegadon to happen at any time.

His life revolved around the belief that society could and would collapse at any given moment. Thus making his life a sad existence.

He also believed the earth was flat and Obama was a reptile.

He's probably not self aware and I'm not a fan of his but he's been taking a lot of shit from the media lately and I feel like it's distasteful. He's going through custody hearings and I would just rather people leave him alone for like a month.
