go to www.wildwing.deviantart.com

you can tell by going to gallery when i use to be a vector head, grew out of it but its used ALOT in all of my art to add substance rather than be the focus.

vectors are "scaleable?" shapes used in programs such as Flash and Illustrator

Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me.

vector is drawing with points and paths instead of pixels. that way its scaleable and you don't lose any quality. he could theoretically blow that up to billboard size and it would still look just as good as it does there. (good job, btw!)
