Holy hell guys...

We are only 9 days away from the whole family convening once again before the one true Hod, Lorin Ashton.
The truest of the true are getting ready to make the journey to Birmingham, from LA to Miami to Vancouver we are ready.

And with the announcement Android Jones will be doing visuals for the night, this is promising to be the best New Years ceremony yet.

Who will I see there?
I'm seeing Lorin on the 30th in Denver and flying out it BHAM on the 31th,
I'd live to Bassnectar and chill with some of you buys before the ceremony begins,
Or possibly afterwards on the 1st if we survive the night.

I honestly would love to go but my schedule is never my own, I'm only about 80 mile
from birmingham so it wouldnt be much of a drive to get there, now that's not saying
I cant come meet up with you and hang out for a bit if you're going to be there a
few days

It was 2014 i think, Kaliedoscope in Emerald Grove, Eugene, Oregon.

There was like 2000 people there, shit was cray cray.

But the first time i saw BassNectar was at the WoW Hall in Eugene, dont remember the year.

He was touring with Beats Antique and this thing called the "Road Show". It was pretty funny, they would put on animal masks and rock the fuck out :lol: It was awesome.

Big difference between the two: the WoW Hall show had like 100-200 people and it sold out! Im glad i made it. Did u go to that one too?

I'd go if it wasn't in Alabama. With so many awesome cities to visit, thats the last city I'd travel to for NYE. I should say that I was there last year, and while it was pretty damn sick, it totally wasn't worth the money. I'm not a nectar hater, his shows can be insanely fun, but I won't dump hundreds to see him for one night

It's not that expensive... Just link up with Fam on You Know We Love It and car pool. Tickets were only like $70.

Yeaaa for tickets, but then I can either fly there for 200-300, or sit in a car for over 24 hours for a single night of music. Just not worth it. To each their own, I dont hate on peoples music tastes, but bassnectar has gotten insanely lazy in my opinion. His shows have progressively become less and less fresh, and his most recent album literally was composed of recycled ideas. If I knew the set was gonna be super fresh with lots of outside material I haven't heard, I'd go, but last year was basically bassnectar best hits. Its still awesome, but its something I've seen over and over again. I am bummed I didnt hit Atlanta a few months back tho, but I doubt nye will be like that

Have a good time. Having just saw aphex twin I'm cool with just going to a house party this year

$300 for a flight is cheep, mine cost $600 lol
But ya, I feel ya.
For me Bassnectar is half about seeing and meeting up with all my Basshead friends from other states.

I did go! That was back when I actually liked Pretty Lights, gosh that was a fun time, but it truly lived up to its name.
A friend of mine got too fucked up and too cold and had to go home a day early.
God we were dumb back then.
