Is this shaggy parasol? Looks very similar and the stem stains reddish brown but the gills arent white, they're a creamy colour Found on dead leaves and woodchip in shaded area - saprotrophic Reminents of veil on stipe Stipe about 2inches long No rings around stipe to suggest parasol mushroom Spores not taken yet

Anyone know what this is? looks interesting

The first could be in Chlorophyllum. If it was a shaggy mane, it would have inky black qills that turn to liquid.
The second one is in Xylaria

OOPS, sorry. I guess I read right over the parasol part. Yes, Chlorophyllum - but which one? If no green spore print, then edible. I'd say at this age, it's got a white print. Did you have a photo of the complete mushroom? The base of the stem and the manner of the ring would distinguish which of them you have.
P.s. Just because a person doesn't have a TI badge doesn't mean they weren't one before or can't be trusted. Many of us have or had one and don't now for any number of reasons.
The shaggy parasol common name applies to C. rhachodes, C. brunneum, and C. olivieri (in the US).

The gills look to have a darker edge (marginate), is that the case in person?

Yeah they have a creamy orangey colour turing to whiteish at the tip
Stupidly i tried to print on white paper and when ive went to change it there is orangey browny marks on the paper - not 100% sure if its spores but what could it be if they do come out that colour?

The orange could be staining from the gills. Orange/red spectrum staining is common among the Chlorophyllum and other lepiotoid type fungi.
Your specimen is old, are there more to collect?

There is a couple of pins but im sure they were a similar size last week so maybe they have aborted. There is older more disgusting looking specimens as well. Its a shame as there was loads of these a few weeks back.

OP, perhaps you have Cholorphyllum olivieri. This description lists that the gill edges can become brown-floccose.
(GILLS free, 85-110 reach stem, broad, 3-7 subgills between each set of gills; white when young, then cream and spotting pink; edges "whitish when young, later brown-floccose", (Breitenbach), white, tinged reddish when older, bruising reddish, (Phillips), free, close, in two or three tiers; white becoming red or brown when bruised, darkening when old; edges finely fringed, (Sieger))
here is Vellinga's description as well http://www.svims.ca/council/Chloro.htm
