Questions for people who know about ski boats.
    #2364192 -

I'm looking to buy a boat for this summer. The only problem is I dont have much money. But I found one online for only $1100. It is only 85hp though and it is a 1975 model.

It supposedly runs and floats and it looks in good condition.

Is 85 hp enough to pull an intertube?

Thanks.

Hope you are a good mechanic cause that is an old ass boat

If I get a book on it im sure I can figure it out. But $1100 seems like a really good deal.

you'll have to find a book on the engine and another covering basics of boat mechanics...

I paid $3000 for this one, running a couple years ago... needed wiring and some steering work... cost about $3000 more to repair it and make it nice
look around and try and find a good boat that could use some work, that you really like the style of and suffer an extra year to make a sweet boat you'll keep for a lobg time
