Where to find a suitable timer?
    #2296752 - 02/03/04 08:25 AM (20 years, 1 month ago)

I'm having trouble locating a suitable timer for my humidifier. I would like to run it for 15 minutes every 2 hours or so, but the only tiers I could locate for an electrical outlet are for 2 on and 2 off settings per day. If anyone knows where I can get a more precise timer that is relatively cheap, I would be indebted.

Im pretty sure you can purchase more notches for those cheap non-digital timers...so there is more then 2 on 2 off settings... You can add as much as you like. You just have to ask someone at lowes or home depot how this can be done.

Penalties against drug use should not be more damaging to an individual than the use of the drug itself. Nowhere is this more clear than in the laws against the possession of marijuana and mushrooms in private for personal use.

At wal mart they have one that will do heavy appliances (it has 3 prongs) and a switch at half hour intervals. So you can have it run for 30, then be off for as long as you like. Its about $10.

I have several of the type with detents for 15 minute increments, but are for two prong plugs only. PM me if you need one, maybe we can trade quid pro quo...

You can find in pet shops also in the reptile section.
