This is a good example of how the drug war can tear families apart.  The false propaganda by itself is just irresponsible.  Family members literally turn against their own because they think that their drug use turns them into some completely unrecognizable demon.

People need to be taught in school how to interpret news media reports and it needs to be strongly reinforced that media anecdotes aren't the rule for anything, drug-related or not.

Some middle class families seem to have communication problems in general.

I have open conversations with my mom about drugs for years now. I even covered this exact topic and how she shouldn't believe that i was going to try and kill her because i smoke spice and we got into pre-existing conditions etc.


The Drug war/propaganda definitely doesn't help
