Getting ready to make chocolate bars

Any advice guys?

I have some waxpaper, tinfoil for molds, semisweet chips, milk chocolate chips, and peanut butter chips.

I plan on grinding up my shrooms into powder hoping I can fit an 8th in a bar without compromising taste.

You make truffles with peanut butter? Can you explain more please.

When you say truffles I assumed you meant truffles that grow invitro am I misubderstanding?

I like to powder my mushies, then mix well in peanut butter.
Then i put that mix in the freezer for a bit until the PB becomes firm and pliable and easy to roll into balls.
Roll into balls and place on a floured piece of alum foil. Then i melt some semisweet peanut butter chocolate chips with a double boil setup and dip the balls of PB using a toothpick. Place back in fridge and let it solidify. BAM! fire ass chocolates.
I feel like powdering them makes my 2.5gm chocs hit like an eighth.

make truffles instead, that's a soft chocolate inside with a harder chocolate shell

to make the softer chocolate use about 20% heavy whipping cream and about 1tbsp
of butter, heat them in a double boiler, not a pot on direct heat or a fucking
microwave but a double boiler, get the cream and butter up to a hot temperature
(around 140F) and start slowly adding the semi sweet chips and the mushroom
powder. once you've added them so you have about 30% mushroom powder to 70%
chocolate ganache you set this aside and allow it to cool, you may  want to
refrigerate it so it sets more firmly


melt the milk chocolate in a double boiler, remove your ganache from the fridge
and make small balls of about 1/2 ounce each, dip them in the melted chocolate
and set them on wax paper on a cookie sheet to cool a little before placing them
back in the fridge to set


it is absolutely imperative that you do not add any liquids to melted chocolate,
it will cause it to seize, even a few drops of the water from the double boiler
will cause this and it's pretty much  irreversible

also, if you  start with a good quality chocolate you have an incredible result,
using shit like the 'almond bark' or other cheap chocolates you find in huge
blocks will give you some nasty, waxy ass shit that isnt worth eating

Hahaha i mix peanut butter with a couple grams of mush powder and stuck inside of a chocolate mold that's already been coated in chocolate and has hardened then add a thin layer of chocolate on top of the peanut butter..
