Sure the speedos not kph.
97mph is probably close to the theoretical top speed of first gear and 186mph 4th or 5th.
If you did manage to hit those speeds in those gears might want to do an oil change to get all the metal filings out.

Mate, you ain't been riding these new litrebikes have you? I'll break every speed limit in the country in 1st (with modified gearing too - acceleration FTW):

Pushing 186 horses in that little 180kg frame there...

Yeah man I ride. Haven't riden the newer blades like yours but have been on the new gixer and R1 they both blew me away. Couldn't belive the low down rideabilty while still having a crazy top end.

I've had old 600's doing 115mph in 3rd on the track.
And even my old carbed Ducati monster will break any speed limit in 1st.

Those speed claims just seemed a little high. Maybe has a smaller back sprocket :shrug:

Can't find the picture but there was a guy that liked to take his Aprilla RSV4 to the top end of first consistently anyway took his magnetic sump plug out and it looked like a Christmas tree of metal shavings.

Can't watch the video on my phone but if thats 154mph in first gear that's impressive.

Sorry didn't see you mentioned it is a modded track bike and 186 in 3rd was the temp.

Actually, in all my accidents on a bike, it has been a car that has T-boned me, not vice-versa. I think will find this common amongst bikers, from first hand experience.
