My new bike.. Yamaha FZ1..... 1st gear, 97mph

Now that I've settled down for the night... I can count my blessings that I'm still alive to post.
The Honda CBR 600F4 was smallish for my body type...I'm 6'4".  It is my first bike, so I'll never get rid of it.

Saw this nice Yamaha  on Craig's List ... Walked away $3500 lighter in the purse.
Got insurance, tag, title.
Took a spin around the. Block.... Felt good!
Got on the back roads.... Yes! It takes curves pretty nicely.....
..
..got on the interstate.....186 mph.... In 3rd gear....
Decided to slow down..

I was going to get a cruiser bike..... But after sitting on one, hell no.. I felt like I was 65 years old.

I love my new bike!

i need to invest in a bike as that is the only way to get away from the police(if need be) in a town with a lot of streets.

It's a pretty good bike. The guy I got it from modded it for track racing. I don't have any idea what I bought but it scared the living crap out of me when I was red pegging the speedo.
I'll post a pic in the morning. And the speedo, yep, there are 2. A computer one and analog.
The computer speedo has water temperature, shift #, fuel level, etc. 
186mph. I was probably looking at the water temperature. Lol! Hell all I know is that I was going so fast that I knew I was going to jail if I were caught.

I don't ride well enough to get away from the police though.
Hell, I still get wiggy when it starts raining while I'm riding around. So scared I'm going to hit a turn and slide under a truck or something.

When you have boobs, you loose the option of chest sliding if you wreck.
I'm going to get my Walmart go pro knock off and start you tubing some riding vids.

Anyone know a good place to look for a mic in a helmet? Or do I have to get the go pro because it has it already. :frown:

Me too.  This is one of the reasons why you and I are still alive and ambulatory.  With our fondness for altered states there is no way we would have survived intact.
