More than one. Ephedrine seriously elevates blood pressure - far more than amphetamines. It increases the risk of cardiac arrhythmia especially during exercise. Chronically elevated blood pressure seen with regular use will destroy your kidneys, eyes and cardiovascular system.

the only worthwhile otc stimulant is propylhexedrine (benzedrex), however, as others have said it is crap for studying. Way too tweaky.

If you can't get adderall I'd look into fluorinated amphetamines (2-fma, 4-fma, 4-fa, etc) and keep the dose low.

A user here used to swear by 2-fma.  4-fa is definitely too euphoric ime.  I liked 2-fa.
