People need to be responsible for their own feelings, rather than blaming it on someone else.  If they don't like what someone is saying, just fucking leave.

"Open minded" liberals always seem to want to ban words and censor the discussion of certain topics, so much for free speech.

Show me one law where a word has been banned.

It doesn't need to be a law.  There are non-pc words and ideas that leftists don't want said and your reputation and livelihood depend on following these non-codified rules.  This occurs to a large extent in the university setting.  The US is better about free speech in this regard than many nations that ban so called "hate speech".  Otherwise, there was a thread here on the shroomery just a few days ago promoting the prohibition of words deemed bad.

Universities will alway be left leaning. Conservatives aren't as well educated.

Also Ted Cruz one of the leading presidential canadites is quite conservative and he made magna cum laude at Princeton. Its utterly ridicolous to assume conservatives are less educated. Also not all degrees are created equal any dummy can get a gender studies degree this may skew the numbers as scores of liberals have useless degrees where as conservatives are more pragmatic and get useful degrees.

He's also an evangelical that wants to force his religion down all American's throats, and thinks he has the right to be all up in our personal lives. Fuck that guy. That's not small government.

What we can conclude from this is that intelligence, as measured by university success, is not necessarily indicative of good ideas.

George W, for all the jokes that he gets about being dumb -- the guy graduated from Yale and also got a degree from Harvard Business School.

That's pretty impressive for a supposed dumbass.

I didn't say conservatives couldn't get an advanced degree, I said conservatives are less educated. Trump supporters are notable for their lack of a college education.

The top 5% and the sons of notable alumni. :cookiemonster:

You are delusional if you don't think nepotism goes a long way in getting admitted into a good college.

Nepotism may play a role but the courses are still quite rigorous. If they just let in rich kids with poor academic abilities there rankings would drop and the Ivy league would no longer be prestigious. Everyone accepted is a excellent student.

No, you didn't say that.  You just said education.  Not all education occurs in the academy and judging by these ashole whiners they are being uneducated.

Tell me something.  Just how educated do you think the welfare cases Bernie is pandering to are?

I'm sure she's an engineer.

I didn't know so many people supported these special snow flakes and their hurt feelings:feelsbadman:

I cant stand these children and all their whining about triggers, safe spaces, and so called "oppression". What is even worse is that I am young enough that they all assume I'm going to die inside like they do when someone doesn't agree with them about the evil patriarchy and how horrible white men are.

It is a shame that the left had to turn into what it is today. Do they not realize the pendulum will swing just as far the other way? I have seen it in myself and many others. I am way more right leaning now then I ever thought I was, and I still hold classical liberal values:rolleyes:

I can only hope that this shit doesn't gain enough traction ( aka government enforcement) that they are able to act like this in the real world. The possibility that these downtrodden and oppressed victims of everything will get a large dose of reality one day is one of the few things that gives me hope anymore:shrug:
