Just started re watching it :lol: Never seen the original Australian version but I should try that next.

Such a ridiculous show, in the best of possible ways. I love that Frodo plays the main guy too. He makes a great crazy stoner burnout.

Anyone else a fan of Wilfred?

I watched the first season, I could never get into the second one though. I think the thing I liked about it the most was how "unique" it was. When that wore off, it wasn't really interesting to me.

I really enjoyed Wilfred. Watched the series a few times through. The last season gets a little dark though. Concept is brilliant.

I've watched the aus version which varies from amazing to very average.  Had a lot of potential that it only sometimes fulfilled.  I haven't seen the US adaption.

Idk man, it gets way more unique/ crazy in the later seasons I thought :shrug:

I will have to do that, usually the originals are better. I thought the US one was great for the most part though.

The episode they do Ayahuasca is hilarious. Also they smoke so much weed throughout the show :stoned:

Yeah but it's not really a unique concept anymore at that point. The same concept from the first season still exists in the later ones. :shrug:

Is wilfred still a complete asshole in US version?  I found sometimes they went overboard, and the main character of 'Adam' is just so annoying and unlikable.  It's like why the hell is that girl with him?  Elijah Wood I find hit and miss.  Although I've only seen him in 2 movies.  Lord of the Rings he's great, and Green Street Hooligans which is a shit movie and he's shit in it.

Yeah he's a super manipulative asshole but he also maintains a friendship with the main character  which he constantly abuses for ridiculous reasons.

I really liked it until he started getting into the talking abot his father part.

After a while every episode was about his feelings and it pissed me off, i could care less about that guy whining about his dad.
