might have problems with the cops

hey guys im in a bit of a situation. im going to try to recall the events as bet i can.
last weekend i was asked if i wanted to get a couple hits of acid from a friend that was online. i said sure and he picked me and we picked up the acid and hung out at his house for awhile with a few friends. his parents were gone for the weekend so naturally everyone has been having mad parties there since the day his parents left. well as it turns out the house was being watched by the cops. more then half the kids there were the biggest teenage drug dealers in town. of course i didnt know anything about the cops until today, a week later when i find that my friend who's house i was at is being arrested for breaking probation, another kid is being looked after close observation. also my friends parents found his online conversations all of them were savd with DEAD-AIM. so bassically it has me asking for two hits of acid and my phone number. this information with billions of other online convos was given to my school . my firend who had the party was asked to fess up and no one but him will take the rap for it. he did but i was just wondering what are the chances i might catch a wiff of this. im guessing pretty likely. i know that im rediculously stupid and i dont need anyone to tell me that. if you could please tell me what they could possibly burn me on. to my knowlege no one knows that i had taken the acid, i did it later at my house alone. i just want to expect the worst.

trip, don't sign anything without your parents/lawyer present. as long as you don't still have the acid there's no evidence for them to charge you. who knows if the deal ever went down?

It was all a joke is what I would say. They cant prove a thing its all hearsay. Its like if I said I know he grows mushrooms in his house the cops cant get a warrent on that they need the person to go into the house see the set up tell them right where it is and all of that good stuff they cant charge you on hearsay. What I would do and will allways do in this kind of situation is this was a joke and prove that it wasnt and they cant they have evidence what so ever you are in the clear

it has my number and my frieds saying my name over and over. from what people tellme they all ready know everyones name that was at the oparty. they had people check up on us. i have no idea why they didnt bust us. they couldve gotten us good. do cops hold their word often when they make deals with people like 'if you fess up then everyone else is clean.'?

no. do not talk to the police. if they try to question you, politely tell them that you're rather busy, and if you are not under arrest or being detained, and are free to leave, you really need to get going. do not answer ANY questions. if you ARE under arrest or being detained for questioning, politely tell them that you haven't got anything to say to them until you have an attorney present. do not talk to the pigs. when they say, "everything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law", they mean it. the more you say, the more ammo you give them to use against you in the court room.

they will try to trick you and intimidate you into answering questions you don't have to answer. they play mind games. they're trained for it. what you must remember is... if you are not being detained, you are free to leave... leave. if you ARE being detained and aren't free to leave, keep your mouth shut until you have an attorney. no matter what they say, you don't have to answer any questions without an attorney present.

well thats just the deal the cops made to my friend, so thats why i wondering. he all ready fessed up and took responsibility. im why they would go to such etremem lengthes to get two people though.

well... there is a difference between a plea bargain and some shit that a cop just says to you. plea bargains are real. a cop's word is not. if they come for you, get an attorney.

mushmaster thanks man. thats what i ment. so im guess im in the clear. o in case youre wondering hes going to trial on tuesday. hes a great friend and hes really run down. guys thanks for your help. i hope everything turns out ok. more then likely though i will skip monday, so i can be prepared with some legal backup if i need it.

Really....cops can and frequently do lie, both in court and on the streets. Never ever trust one in this situation.

Just call bullshit, what proof do they have? Be sure you don't have any incriminating evidence in your house though.
