1st Grow PF-tec Koh samui super,Pink Buffalo, PES Hawaiian,GT & B+ * 1

hello Iam new to this(1st grow) and the site but have done a lot of research over the past month before i started.on 11/15/15 i inoculated around 24 jars half of them are 1/2 pints and others are tiny 1/4 pints i have 5 different types colonizing all from a sponsored vender... any advice or comments will be greatly appreciated!!!
heres a few pics 9 days after inoculation






DAY 14 ...This is 2 out of the 3 Pes Hawaiian that are at 100% will be birthing these and 2 pink Buffalo in a day or 2


heres a close up of one of my B+ thats  90% colonized

the 18 jars that are still with us lost 6 to green trich you can see pics of that in my journal

just made a small 27Qt SGFC 1/4 in holes in 2x2 gride pattern and i got a big 66QT i got to put holes in also

these are 3 of my Pes Hawaiians.....saw what looks like knotting starting on all 3 before i dunked them all 3 had a really Strong Mushroom smell to them so i guess thats a good thing. I will be rolling in verm tommorrow and putting them in my small SGFC will be finishing up bigger fc this week....Any advice is greatly appreciated

yea i figured it isn't reading right anyway lol just wanted to see what it was going to read... so as long as i keep my cakes moist and fan after mist i should be good?:stoned:

Yup, don't over think it or over do it and you'll be fine. Mist until glistening, mist again when its not, fan lightly right after misting, although not really required, it's what I do. Typically you'll mist first thing in the morning, sometime later in the day like after work, then one more time before bed. Based on your location you may need more or less. Cakes are pretty forgiving just be patient, don't fuss over them too much and you will be rewarded.

ok gotca thanks! I also took temperature gauge out of chamber....the room its in has been staying at around 70 to 75 in daytime but night when lights are out  its dropping anywhere from 66 to 60 is this ok or should i try to heat room?

just Birthed and dunked 2 pink buffalo cakes.. will roll in verm tomorrow and put in FC with the Pes Hawaiians .i will have room for one more cake in this FC i have a koh sumai that is ready to go i just didn't want to get it mixed up with the PBs during the soaking...Heres some pics of the pink buffalos!!!

ok cool thanks man.. i wasn't sure about that night time temp ..yea my house has no central heat and air just window units and plug in heater in one room and iam on east coast in the south lol but RH is on my side here thats for sure

well i made a couple changes nothing big... I elevated the SGFC about 4 or 5 inches and i also hung 3 fly traps i have seen a few gnats around just want to be safe don't want them making there way into holes..Heres a few pics of setup and just misted cakes and a couple questions :laugh::mushroom2:
Are the cotton like balls on this cake the start of knotting??



How do i sterilize the inside of these bags?

Pretty darn textbook! Did you give the jars some time in the jars after 100% colonization. I hear RR say its important and I hear others say motherwise. I tend to trump others over RR but not in all cases. Search and find your own path KIMOSABI. Nice gro!

Right on dude I'm on my first grow too. Just picked 104g fresh off my cakes tonight  :biggrin:
One thing I would say is when you dunk to hold the cakes underwater instead of just floating. Not sure whether you're doing that from your pics

thanks for the comment..yea i gave them a few days to consolidate about to make my big scfc got some 1/2 pints at 100% now and just pc 12 more small jars they will be inoculated tomorrow
