i knew a chick once, from detroit, anytime we went to the bar, she would have the bartender put the lions game on the smallest tv in the place.. she would continue to watch them lose season after season, and yet be positive that a winning season would be there sometime.

I feel for my pops, man. He's been a lifelong fan since birth. Still tunes in every single Sunday. It's kinda sad seeing him at his age still spend 3 and a half hours on them every Sunday during football season even though it's completely futile.
