    #22565781 -

I designed this album with this sub-culture in mind.. My inner thoughts and musical hallucinations for you all to enjoy. Would love some discussion and input. Cheers!

Got chills at 1:16.  What a transition.

Great stuff at 5 minute mark.

Even better into the next song.  Wonderful bass part.  Chick Corea stuff.  Very impressed.

Tambourine works.

Moving onto some real magic on the softened rhodes with the organ overtones a little dark and distracted to a stop then taking off like a bat catching many mosquitoes OK that's a meal maybe enough of that.

Wonderful art work if you did that too I'm being too critical.

Nice stuff at 11:30 mark and moving into the next part very nice.

Great piano work freddy chopin slash it up

All right now I am impressed all Beethoven laid over that intro.

WTF.

13:33 wow OK you got me.

Sitar rationalizations.

This is the kind of review I've been looking for. Thank you. What suggestions would you have for improvement? It is my first album so it's always a rough go. I'm finding the production side of things challenging. My wife has kindly bought Logic Pro for me for Christmas so I'm looking forward to upgrading from garageband and exploring a more professional software.

Thank you all for the kind comments. I wasn't sure how my art would be received but I figured you guys would appreciate it.

As an example of what "worked" back in the day, take a look at Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane.  That album "described" an acid trip.  Each song was its own entity but there was a flow and a coherence that made the entire album great.  You didn't have to avoid three songs on side b.

Your music is so diverse, and you have interesting flows between the different types, which makes it fun.  Try to make the flows connect in ways that make sense, instead of just moving from one context to the other.

I'll have to listen to the last 2/3 for more comments so later will do that.

Looking forward to reading what you have to say! Listening to Surrealistic Pillow right now by the way... unreal. Definitely an acid trip  I like to think of my album as a shroom trip.

Thanks for presenting your work. I am not into listening to complete albums but I took in the whole of the first peice, the one that felt very phrygian mode-like. Very nice. Quality stuff.

Love it... Keith Jarrett has always been a favourite. I also enjoy his classical recordings of Bach. Diversity is a wonderful thing and is essential for one to be a good well rounded musician.
