all that really matters is home growing and stop putting people in jail. the prices i could care less as zombi3 said weed is pretty cheap, got a pound of outdoor for 600. of course the little threats will be awesome edibles,extracts. and easy acess to CBD would be so awesome. so hard to get a prescription around here ffs

but yea from what i understand the price and the system will be decided by the provinces.

i hope they dont make dabs illegal in my province tho,

Had not heard talk of 20$ for a gram.
Did however hear talk of 20% tax on it.

Think, aside from taxes, pricing will be set on a case-by-case basis.
With legal growing, there is far less excuse to jack the price -- cannabis doesn't cost that much to produce, it's the risk that causes problems. :shrug:

prices should be comparable to dried tomatoes, from an agricultural point of view

(also i heard the 20$/g and it was from a satire news site article i saw on facebook saying that justin decided that something like 480 an ounce :facepalm:)

I don't expect legal weed to be cheap, considering how the prices of alcohol and cigarettes in Canada are probably the highest in the world.

Have they discussed banning concentrates? That would be really fucked up, and practically unenforceable.

I was thinking about taking a trip up to Canada within the next couple years, this gives me yet another reason to go :yesnod:

I think it's going to take at least a year or two before weed is legal.

pretty sure dabs (or anything with more than 25% THC) are illegal in amsterdam and classified as hard drugs. if it's illegal in amsterdam, I can't see it being legal in Canada tbh.

Why would it be unenforceable? The shops just wouldn't sell it?

When the Conservatives castrated the medical system for patients, they included provision that extracts were illegal.

It got taken to court and the Supreme Court said it was not valid to try and deny patients extracts.
Due to that, we should have no issues with such banning.

whew that's far. Hopefully it gets legalized before April 20th hehe.

and yeah, if i had to bet, dabs will be illegal. hopefully edibles will be legal though.

I throw 20's at strippers. You guys broke or something? You really going to compare Ontario weed to California dispensary weed? Maybe the shit you are smoking is only worth 10 bucks a gram. I just want the best, I never choose the cheaper weed.
You guys are also forgetting how much money the black market makes now. At 2000 dollars a pound, there is no reason it couldn't be 12 bucks a gram and everyone makes lots of money. Expect the price to rise slowly over the years once they have most of the market. I doubt it will start out at 20 bucks a gram. 

I also doubt dabs will be illegal since its pretty easy to make your own. If they want to prevent house explosions they will legalize commercial production of shatter.
