So basicly, its like official. weed is in the priorities :rainingjoints: . cops still do raid tho. :frown:

this is the official letter from justin to the minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada.

Pretty stoked about this.
Any speculation on what prices will be and how available it will be? Someone told me they thought it was going to be $20/gram!! Which makes no sense to me, if that were the case the street market would go nowhere. Part of this is to eliminate the street market is it not?

If weed gets legalized and the price of legal weed gets set at $20/gram, I think street dealers would become non-existent.

The price of alcohol is way over-priced, especially in Canada, but you never see dealers selling moonshine in the streets, right?

Even if weed was $20/gram, people would still choose buying legal weed because it's safer, more convenient, you can choose your strain, etc.

$20/gram sounds right. In Amsterdam, a gram of weed was around $14 euros which is about $20.

I personally do not give two shits about this. Weed is probably going to cost double what it does now but I blaze so rarely these days so whatever.

If Trudeau makes it legal to grow your own pot, I might try growing a plant. It would be an interesting experience I suppose.

Marijuana holds no novelty for me anymore. I wish he would legalize Ketamine instead.

The Liberals were talking about how they wanted to make the prices reflective of street/dispensary prices, so I don't think it'll be $20 a gram.  Maybe for the primo of the primo batches...

Nobody in Canada will pay $20/g LOL

Theres SO much grade AAA dank ass nugs on the street as is I cant think of anyone who would pay double the price now.

I havent seen bad week in years and if you buy bulk its cheap as fuck, like $100/ounce for the dankest weed you can buy.

Or maybe Im just lucky and have excellent connections, but I really dont think so. The weed is amazing everywhere I go in Canada.

If legal weed is $20/g then all the dealers I know will make even more than they are now.

Yep, if it ends up as 20 a gram I probably won't ever go there except to treat myself with varying strains of extracts and edibles on occasion. I already grow 1-2lbs a year just for personal use, I do that illegally already so I can't see that changing for any law they introduce.

Haha ketamine bars would be amazing! ketamine isn't a very social drug, obviously, but it's still so much fun to do with other people.

Somebody should open up a DXM bar though. That could work, I suppose, legally speaking since DXM isn't illegal. They could serve Tussin on the rocks! :laugh:

Exactly.
Ive grown enough weed annually for the last half a decade to last me all year. And thats all been done illegally without arousing even a hit of suspicion. Hell if prices go up to $20/g Ill triple my production and start selling it at $5/g :lol:

Cops will stop obeying the negative laws they are paid to govern in regard to marijuana if it's legalized on a large scale. It will take time, but there are enough instances in other countries to at least marginally predict that.

racemic ketamine is one of the most social drugs IME.  S isomer k... not so much.  we used to get racemic vet grade stuff and it was really mellow and social.
