We had some torrential rain this season, it did a number on the local pumpkin crop, I was just talking with someone the other day and they said it killed virtually everything in the pumpkin patch in my town.

Pumpkins are gonna be slim-pickings and expensive this fall, around here at least.

But no, I don't carve "drug pumpkins". I usually help my nieces and nephews carve pumpkins for Halloween. I don't think my siblings would be too happy if I had them carving marijuana leaves, LSD in big bubble letters, and stuff of the like into their pumpkins, lol.

Here's a few I did 10 years ago for a farm stand.

The 2 top left ones(Sun and Goat) took about an hour ( pattern transfer and cutting)
The rest 30-45 minutes. I've spent 4 or 5 hours before to do a really good one.

I did a few Kerry and Bush ones back in 2004, and an
Obama since then, no pics though.
Ya need a good pattern and practice... :moil:

That looks pretty sweet, maybe I'll give that one a shot with my nieces and nephews this year, it'll take a little customizing, doesn't look too hard though.

I wish I had pictures of previous years, I've made some pretty bad ass ones. I've carved captain Jack sparrow, a dragon, a fairy, and a couple more traditional horror ones. They take me anywhere from 5 hours to two days depending on how detailed it is. I use a wood carving set to do my pumpkins.
