Will this marijuana tea work?

I've started the laborious task of brushing of the inside of all the saved baggies we've (me and two friends) smoked in the last three years.
I rip open the bags and brush the insides into a pan of water. I've just finished the bottom column and the water is already getting pretty murky.
I plan on adding some oil to the water for THC absorbtion and then boiling for a few minutes. Then filtering the sludge out.
But I have no idea if the tea will work or if it will turn out to be really strong. Our weed is usually of very high quality with trichromes visible at the surface. I wonder how much of those trichromes get brushed off into the bag. We also crumble our weed sometimes while it's still in the bag (to keep fingers clean)
We're gonna drink it tonight. Hope it works.

But milk is disgusting. Adding oil to the water should work good enough. The question is, is there enough or maybe too much THC in those baggies.

MARIJUANA TEA

Marijuana leaves can be boiled to make a weak tea. Even the leaves of immature plants have a slight effect. However, the leaves of mature plants have a stronger effect.

THC is only very slightly soluble in boiling water. Adding either some alcohol or some oil to the mix will help the THC dissolve. An ounce of whole milk or a half ounce of hard liquor to a cup of boiling water increases the tea's potency quite a bit. A chai-type drink, made with marijuana leaves, spices, butter and milk would dissolve even more of the THC.

all the tiny particles from the baggies will be floathing in the water so drinking it will make you high.

I've made tea of just a handfull of leaves had it got me high pretty good.

I guess it'll be a pretty strong tea from all those baggies, enjoy :laugh:

I love orally ingesting marijuana. It's such a different high. I got so high off tea the first time I tried it, that I felt like I was tripping. If you aren't familiar with taking it this way, be prepared for a different experience. You live in Holland though, so you have probably had those 'space cakes' that everybody rants and raves about. I hear they are really strong.

Does it not just break your mind how much Ganja you actually smoke?
When I look around my apartment I cant turn round without seeing an empty baggy poking its corner out from between the pages of a book. Open any drawer and be prepared for an almost spray like flurry of plastic zip bags that overflow out of the opening and pool around your feet with your woman "Tut-tutting", you and shaking her head 'cause she's told you to, "Clean those bloody drawers out, will ye?!?", but your being an unwitting hamster and collecting the bags for just a eventuality as this. Then its time to scrape some crystal.
Yeah, it blows the balls off you, right enough.

I find that if you rub the baggies side to side upside down over something(like your opening a shopping bag sorta thing) it works quite well, but if they are really crystally you just have to scrape em out.

I got so damn high off sandwiching a teenth of moroccan black between two wine gums, that was easily the most fucked I have ever been from cannabis. I just lay on my sofa for hours stoned off my face watching leon(which i remembered about 5 minutes of by the end of the film)

We had spacecakes in amsterdam from: homegrown fantsy, abraxis and the mellow yellow, none of them actually seemed to have more than the mildest stoning effect. I got the impression that they were designed for people who don't smoke but want to try weed as a one off or whatever.

Be careful you dont mess up your tea, ive wasted over a quarter making butter that had no effect whatsoever, except being cool cos it was green :S. You probly have much more of an idea what you are doing though i would have thought.

I don't understand what you mean by sandwiching it between two wine gums. Can you elaborate? Sounds like it was very effective. I guess there is a difference between British English and American English. :lol:

if there's still some crystals left on the insides of the baggies you could wipe em of with oil and pour that into the tea.

i just ate 1 1/2 spacecookie a few minutes ago and drank a hot chocolat milk after that :smile:

Yeah its amazing how much baggies I collected.

Now about the tea.
Me and one friend drank it one hour and fifteen minuts ago. It seems to be working, but it really creeps up on you. I hope I get more stoned than I'm now though. How long would tea take to reach it's full effects?
My friend is rolling the first joint. He's not sure if he's gonna smoke it though  :smirk:

There still is one cup left. Anybody for tea?
The taste isn't bad, but the olive oil made it a bit oily. Hope I don't get the shits from the olive oil  :grin:

Wow this stuff really did pack a punch. Really different stone than normal. Great for sleeping, I can know I'm an occasional insomniac even with moderate weed quantaties. I slept for 13 hours, and could've slept longer if I didn't drag myself out of bed.
I was still pretty stoned when I woke up and it hasn't totally subsided yet, but this is common with marijuana ingestion. I know that from 4 spacemuffins  :grin:
I still have half a cup left, and enough baggies for maybe 2 more cups or one strong one.


Last night we eacht drank 1,5cup and smoked 2 joints.
