Immigrants Should 'speak American'
    #22197568 -

Quote:
Immigrants to the United States should "speak American," former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin said on Sunday, adding her voice to a controversy triggered by Donald Trump's criticism of fellow Republican White House hopeful Jeb Bush's use of Spanish.
.
"It's a benefit of Jeb Bush to be able to be so fluent in Spanish, because we have a large and wonderful Hispanic population that is helping to build America," Palin said on CNN's "State of the Union."
.
"On the other hand, you know, I think we can send a message and say: 'You want to be in America? A, you better be here legally, or you're out of here. B, when you're here, let's speak American.' I mean, that's just, that's - let's speak English," added Palin, Republican presidential nominee John McCain's running mate in 2008. ~~Reuters

I'm impressed. Such patriotism is hard to find these days.

I wonder where the Trump/Palin sideshow signed up for lessons in the Navajo, Cherokee, Sioux, Chippewa, Apache, Pueblo, and Iroquois languages.

Republican Values:

1) You can't get married to your spouse who is the same sex as you.
2) You can't have an abortion no matter how much you don't want a child.
3) You can't have a certain plant in your possession or you'll get locked up with a rapist and a murderer.

4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.

Did you see this bundle of joy? I wouldn't listen to it if I were you, just check out the film work. Trump out of focus, Ivanka's brand in focus, and compliments from the host.

Trading favors has never been so obscene. :puke:

She has the most irritating voice on the planet, and sounds to me like a cheesehead from Wisconsin with that annoying accent. Aside from her ditzy faux pas I think learning the native language should be top priority for immigrants to assimilate into the country. Lacking the ability to communicate with the majority of the population can only work against someone and limit their opportunities.

Depending on location, the majority language may well be Spanish.

Refuse to speak English, speak in tongues, when no one understands we are winning. Idiot, that's what they always call me.
