11 Reasons the FIFA womens world cup is better to watch than the mens.... * 1

Good Morning.

I woke up early and thought I would smoke a billy as I do not have work today. Turns out one of our TV stations is showing the FIFA women's world cup live. Watching this world cup and being a fan of football (or 'soccer' as some people in Oz call it), it struck me that the women's game seems to be so much better to watch than the men's game.

I have come up with eleven reasons why I think it's better, just  :2cents:  .Any Aussies up early smoking billies watching this? I'm not sure how many stoners get up early morning? This world cup has been worth the early rises. Here is my list;


1. Minimal bullshitting the referee;


No-one says "Ow ref he hit my teeth with his shoulder... ow.. free kick..."


2. Minimal referee harassment;


How they get away with this is beyond me...


3. Much 'prettier' game;

4. Minimal Time wasting....


Makes for a more flowing game.


5. Goals;

There have been plenty in this world cup so far.

6. Australia is in it;

OK, I admit this one is a little biased but.... Matildas! Straya! Aussie Aussie!

8. Minimal arguing with the ref;


At least not the whole team anyway.


9. Minimal cheating;


It is FIFA so who knows...

Who wouldn't want to go there?


These are my own views and I don't mean to be offensive. I am happy to see women's sport being taken seriously, especially football which has lagged behind the all controlling AFL (Their monopoly on sport in Australia and how they keep 'soccer' less popular is a whole other story).

I don't mean to be sexist. I know a female friend who goes to the 'footy' (AFL)  to perv on the guys in tight shorts, so I figure perving is OK, especially on Norway. It's not just guys who check out the great talent, I have another friend who told me this is the sort of girl she would go for.....

Soccer is actually the one sport where women can impress me as much as the men.  WNBA is a joke but professional B Ball players are freaks by definition.  Soccer players are normal sized people who have awesome skills and are incredibly fit.  Or quick as fuck like Hope. 



Can you guess I used to be a keeper?

Did you see that goal Lloyd scored from the center line?  That was stunning and the Japanese keeper must have felt like committing sepuku.  I've seen long goals before but it is usually because they take a fucked up bounce or get deflected off of a defender.  That fucker was air mailed.  Just the idea of even taking that shot was brilliant vision.

If America lost to Japan they none of those girls should have ever been allowed to play for the USA again.

Japan was the defending champion.  Most of the players had already lost to Japan in a final.  I for one am glad they came back.  Sometimes you should just shut the fuck up due to your mind numbing ignorance.  Confine yourself to talking about things you know about.  Like sippy cups and how yummy pacifiers are

Why is women's soccer better? ...... Is that a complicated question for some? It's because they win. Nobody gives a shit about people who don't win. It's the only thing that get's you remembered in sports.
