Skateboarding drunk is probably my favorite thing to do. Nothing beats the feeling of the wind rushing by while chugging a beer while bombing a hill, until you hit a big crack, smash the pavement then you bounce off the pavement and slowly slide to a stop. Then you realize holy shit I didnt even drop my beer. But then you think oh fuck what about that tallboy in my pocket and you scan your surrounding but you dont see it. You then see an object in the yard spraying and you know its your other beer.

You are pissed that you broke ur beer but you try to salvage it. You take a key and poke out a hole which is on the bottom of the can, its still 95% filled, success. During this whole time its pouring rain ruining your bearings/board, but you give 0 fucks because of how amazing you feel, and the rain feels amazing cause ur drunk and sweaty. In the end its all worth it though and you plan on smashing lots of beers again while skating cause its just that much fun.

So shroomery do yall like drunk skateboarding?

I stopped skating the first time I hit a little fucking rock and ate pavement.

One time I was skateboarding drunk and a little blow also and me and my buddy were just fucking givin it down this street right, were laughing and swerving and shit and man im telling you we were flyin.

Then all of a fucking sudden this random dead ass possum carcus appears out of nowhere 3" in front of my skateboard! That shit got caught up so fast I went hurtling off my board and slammed the road with so much momentum I slid nearly 12 feet, and broke my good fucking watch! :mad2:

Oh also, there was dead possum all over my skateboard.

Now I exclusively skateboard on :lsdabc:

Thats so weak, Go hard or go home. One thing ive learned through extreme sports is the best skill you can learn is how to fall. Ive taken some serious tumbles on my snowboard/ skateboard and if I didn't know how to fall/ have quick reflexes I would probably be dead.

i dont see how skateboarding has remained so damned popular.

the rocks/cracks in the streets are really the Achilles heal to the whole damned sport.

I have no problem "going hard" I'm just not going do it on something where a tiny little ass rock is it's kryptonite. I was always more into bikes. I've taken some pretty bad falls on a bike and still got back on it. One that always stays in my mind though was trying to jump a curb and tire losing traction the bike went sideways and my legs spread out and the rear peg cut through both my pants and boxers from right around the calf all the way up to my balls. No injury but picturing what the injuries coulda been always makes me shudder..

Haha zombie thats badass. I normally skateboard at night and only use my headlamp sometimes, so I take a hit like that sometimes. You gotta get a headlamp if you are serious about skateboarding, it helps so much. I have never skated on blow but skating around town, popping e pills, smoking at random smoke spots and drinking booze is the best thing in this world.

I dont have anyone I can skate with anymore though so it kinda sucks at times but it just means I can shred that much harder without worrying about what someone else is doing. Gotta love the slides haha I got a few scrapes from last night.

We invented this thing called the ollie.
That paired with situational awareness, and quick reflexes make the sport pretty maleable to terrain.

Most of the streets in my town are pretty damn smooth, I know which ones I cant ride on/ have to really focus to ride on. Plus I go down mostly mainish type streets and I skate at night so way less cars. Also if you skate where cars tires would normally be your way less likely to hit rocks/pebbles.

im afraid its a little late to hone those skills.. im too fucking old to be getting my ass kicked by rocks in the road.. if i do pick up another skateboard it will def be a longboard with some big ass jelly wheels to combat the rocks.

I always recomend Sector 9 to beginners. They are excellent boards.

I myself buy exclusively Canadian Maple boards, and am not picky on the company, but I am picky on the shape. I dont even have a specific shape I prefer, but you just need to stand on some boards and see what shape you like, buying a good board is like trying on shoes.

When I get a job again first thing Im buying is a longboard. Would be so much better for my style of skating then my normal board.
