I'm not sure that this is completely harmless, but what I did to reduce humidity in my perlite setup was to sprinkle powdered anhydrous MgSO4 (epsom salt baked at 350 for 3 hours) over areas of the perlite bed. A small amount (about a handful) reduced humidity by about 10%.

Perlite is easier to use than an ultrasonic, in my opinion. Can you put the ultrasonic on low or turn your humidity setting down? Or put a bottle or two more on the output of the ultrasonic. Maybe you could change timers or set it so that it comes on for 15 minutes, 4 times per day. Regarding light, whatever light is in the room is fine or a regular incandescent bulb. 4 days in the terrarium might be a little early for pins, don't sweat it..

Hey, thanks! Two of my cakes are pinning. By the way, yea, the humidifier is on low, and I added an extra bottle which now makes four. I think it's about where it should be now. What I did is put about 10 ice cubes in the terrarium to simulate the refigerator shock method and I think it caused two cakes to pin. Shroom wizard suggested since they are bare cakes, to put the jar back over them and put the lid on then put them in the refigerator for 24 hours then re-birth them. If the other two cakes don't pin pretty soon, I think I'll try that.
