..are everywhere and in abundance.

I think the "Hot topics" threshhold should be set a bit higher or disabled all together I dont think anyone generally has a problem identifing a popular thread.

It seems to be in the teens somewhere should definitly be above 50s or even 100s for this site, unless you can set them on a per forum basis.

EDIT: well actually it looks like its based off the number of views its had... there were some with 6 replys but 100+ views being marked as hot..

Then you wouldn't be able to see which threads are sticky, closed, etc.

We will most likely replace the flame icon with a different .gif and possibly increase the criteria that is used to determine a 'hot' thread.

definitly pop the criteria up...if you could set it individually per forum, it'd be the most accurate.
that .gif is kinda annoying too...
