Huge hail stones

Check this

After a day of intense heat in the aussie outback 35 degrees celcius then all of a sudden huge hail stones I got more photos but I accidentaly forgot to thumb the first so check tomozza for a corker of a photo with the hail comming down.

It was only for a short time it didnt damage my car people where laying blankets over there car but mine is a cheap bomb.
Once we had a storm that killed sheep and cost thousand of dollars damage to peoples property.
There like snow with a vengance. :blush:

where abouts in the outback?
i've seen em the size of golfballs.they are dealy to drive on if you have powersteering too.the wheels just turn and lock and slide with no traction whatso ever.

Damn, that is intence... I've never seen hail that big, but I've heard of them being bigger.  I'm always hearing about them the size of golf balls.  That would really do some damage to cars.

P.S.  It's really hard to type and not look at the text to make sure that everything is ok, becuase I keep looking up at that picture in your signature.  :thumbup:  Hahaha!

man... last year my cousin moved to waverly nebraska.
It wasnt long afterwards, the whole town was hammered by a halistorm
that was droppin golfball sized chunks. I got to look at the aftermath.
That place looked like a warzone!

one day it hailed like mad here in San Diego, during school
everyone, and i mean EVERY SINGLE PERSON, left the classrooms and got in hail-ball fights, it was awesome

hail is super wierd to experience because when so much of it is falling, it falls real fast and does not seem natural at ALL
