I had forgotten that was you.. I'm just really bad at computer stuff. My wife had to sign me up for an account in the first place when I wanted an ID. I'll ask her to make it fancier so people recognize me easier. I know sheekle posts cause of the cat pic ya know.

eh i got an inteview for a decent web developer position, my interview was for tomorow and the recruiter calls me today like "oh they interviewed someone today and they think they're gonna hire him"

technology shit is retarded this is like the 5th time this has happened to me where they just hire the first person they interview and I don't even get to meet with the company.

Got some good freelance work today though so i'll make $200 bucks or whatever so i guess idgaf.

I'm sorry to hear that. My dad has hired thousands of people over the years, and I know for a fact what he would tell you.

A call like that is a huge opportunity. Run through the conversation every way it could go and prepare your best responses in your head over and over. You love that phone call. You hope for it. This is your chance to tell them why you are the one they will be giving this job to. I guess its easier to explain in person but if you  go into an interview with that mindset and preparedness, they will make that call to someone else.

nah i just talk with recruiters, never with teh companies pretty much, he called me back and got me the interview anyway, they were originally hiring a jr and a sr position, but now i guess its a death match between the first two people they interviewed, me and this other guy :rolleyes: fucking dumb.

I've never started my own thread, but I told an insane personal story on 420 for my 420th post to try and get people to pay homage to the weed farmers rotting in jail that were willing to do so to change the world.
In an effort to keep this thread from getting locked, I'd like to reiterate, hypnosis is bologna!
And thanks a bunch for the offer of re upping the supporter status, but once my profile is all fixed up, I don't see the point. Are there cool extra features I'm not aware of? There is surely a more deserving newer member who would appreciate it more.. Thanks again, but mabey another game would be fun!
