i think if you read the FAQ, you're breaking a few rules...like not clumping a shitload of different mushrooms together, and then asking what they are..and also you need to describe where you found them and what they look like, and also, take a spore print of them.

Yeah, you'll need to give us some more information if you want any of those ID'ed.

None are active or edible.

I see some species of Mycena, maybe a Marasmius, Amanita species and maybe a Cort of some sort. :wink:

All we wanted to know was if they were possibly active. We were hoping a once over from you guys would give us that info and I guess it did. None active for sure?

considering that the major active species that you would be looking for in the humboldt area has a deadly look alike i think you would be a little more careful. but, that's just me, maybe i'm foolish.

I can assure you 100% that none are active in your pictures.

You should be looking for Psilocybe cyanescens right now. Its the time of year for them in your area. Yes, and be careful for Galerina species. They have a different colored sporeprint and gill color though. They are the deadly look-a-likes.

I have some friends from Humbolt, they tell me that they can find tons of cyanescens...it also depends if other people have gotten to them first or not. They are well known about in Humbolt.
