some pet pics,
    #2144961 -

heres ceasar having a salad, he eats a huge heap of salad evryday,
chard, collards, dandelion, okra, grapes, carrot, turnup, orange, beets, beans, lotsa stuff. his former owner only gave him romaine lettuce, something iguanas should never eat, they also had no heat pad, lamp, or uv light.
the petstore (shelter) gave him mostly kale, which can lead to hyperthyroidism (goiter)
when we got him he was ill but friendly, now he is heathly, strong, and extremely dangerous. he put on alot of weight and is longer.
to bad we cant trust him not to tryu to kill us and our company, he hurt his toe the other day, luckily we have extringant (quickstop) for the birds, worked just fine, cotarized the toenail right up. not for use on lacerations.
when he requires attention its a matter of the two of us pinning him down and doing the buissiness quickly, theres usually a bath involved, he is less agressive when he has a warm bath, he doesn't seem to mind that we are rough and firm with him, its really the only safe way to handle him, he hates all humans, but it doesn't knock his health or appitite.

heres my Axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum)
i have a gold medal and some awards for my axolotl research in the past. however the test subjects were really blotched tiger salamanders
(ambystoma tigrinum melanostictum) it took me 10 years to get a real axolotl in NSsome friends of mine in the pet trade got him shipped for me. he is having some bloodworms now but prefers earthworms.
i had to set up another tank for my fish as they were nipping him and caused alot of damage to his fins and gills, luckily it will all heal, axolotls are larval and therefore regenerate all lost limbs, lobes, organs. etc. they are also adults and sexually mature, this is called "neotency" great little guys. i hope to breed them soon.
you have to be careful to not overfeed them, they have delicate digestie systems and too much food will spoil in their stomaches.
usually it will be regurgitated. unlike tiger salamaders which will eat till they look like footballs.
