I saw Billy Gibbons at an Elk Lodge in Pasadena Tx when i was in the 8th grade...he was still going to Lee high in Baytown so he had really short hair an people were kinda laughing at him {hippie days}

I have gotten where i dont care for them much in the last 10 yrs or so but they can still play oh so good :thumbup: plus the show is free

No shit, UCB?  I'm also on the central coast... heh, I don't get this whole Nor-Cal representin' bidness, but it seems like the people from above the halfway point north love to make a big deal about their area.  Myself having been born and raised in the southern parts never really gave a shit what the land was called.  Anyway, I'm goin' off on a huge tangent here.  Hope ya like UCB - maybe you should hit LiquidSmoke up and smoke some fatty herbs.  Saw some shrooms poppin' up last weekend too - thinkin' about goin' out tomorrow and takin' a closer look :spliff:

Dude, norcal people piss me off sometimes. Socal ppl are so chill, it was tough to come up here and get used to all the norcal differences, not only do they tend to be all uptight, but there is all this wierd stuff to get used to like the word "hella" and how they say shit like "Take 101 north" instead of "Take THE 101 north"... And they are always happy to dis socal and socal ppl are just like "whatever I wish there were decent beaches up here maybe then you guys would chill out"!

Funny thing is now that I've been up here two years I find myself using the word "hella" accidently sometimes. But I hope to always maintain my socal laid back attitude. The drug use certainly is a product of Berkeley, however. :smile:

LiquidSmoke is at UCB? I'll PM, I've been looking for other Berserkleyans at Shroomery...
