Shroomism - L.A.

Well, not just me.. my whole band.

Plans are in the works to come out to LA sometime, probably late winter/early spring. An old friend has an uncle he is living with out there, who is big in the music business. He offered to record us for free if we fly out there, and we will probably play a gig or two while we are there.

Just a heads up for you Socal people. I want to meet Geo and L_S and all the rest of you crazies, and smoke copious amounts of dank.
It will be good.

Good luck with that. Perhaps one day you'll be able to come down here. And if you do, make sure you do a show with 8 Foot Sativa. They're a local metal band that just managed to break out into the market and did an international tour earlier this year. Or, if they do another tour, go to their show and hook up with them. They're good guys!

Thanks man.. New Zealand would be fucking sweet to play.. but I think we need to be a little more established before we can go overseas. This will be our first show west of..well.. the east coast. But we also might have a deal in the works with Century Media, which is in Simi Valley, Ca.. so who knows what may come of that.. they send people all over the place to tour! Who knows...

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

we have a few gigs prepared as well... of course not as big as going through a whole continent, to play on the other side, but if it works out we might play 1 or 2 gis in berlin next spring... we're also going to record a 2nd demo cd, since the first one is obsolete... and we have another gig round here in january... and i met a band from chile who will be touring the south of germany next year... theyre pretty big in southamerica... called "2X" ... well and they said theyre always looking for support so if things go well we might go on tour with them for 10 gigs or so...

its good to hear things are working out man!  :thumbup:
