This thread aroused my curiousity and after reading the wikipedia on little wayne, I am now in the process of watching all of his videos on youtube as well as a few interviews. I have mixed feelings about him but seem to grow more fond of his antics as I go on. He is hard on the ears but amusing to the eyes. I could never listen to his music without watching the videos, he succeeds most as a spectacle and entertainer rather then a musician IMO. He is freakishly intelligent, inexplicably in great shape despite his hard lifestyle, and has a highly unique visual appearance and style. His music is horrible by the standards of what I consider good music, but there is a certain something about it.

He started rapping at 12 and was actually quite good at that age. He got straight A's in school. He has five kids with five different women (or 4?) . He is a Christian and believes in God and professes faith in God at his concerts and was arrested with large amounts of weed, cocaine and mdma, and has been addicted to Lean / Purple Drank/ Codeine cough syrup.

He claims to not be a human and indeed seems interestingly alien. Overall I respect him for blazing his own trail in life. He has had numerous seizures and must have various forms of brain damage but still manages to write interesting music.

Hes gonna do fine without birdman.. his lyrics are too good for them, they never had any material and relied on wayne for so long. he made birdman most of his money
