nas was a pretty decent rapper...but i saw him live, he opened (extremely randomly) for STS9 at red rocks.

okay if there is one thing you have to understand about red rocks, it basically has THE best acoustics you can have at a venue period and somehow his mixer or whatever SUCKED BALLS and completely fucked his whole concert, the bass drowned out anything nas was saying.....it was such a joke that i kinda think nas is a fucking piece of shit now because there is NO WAY he couldnt hear it himself

all he is after is money apparently, doesnt give a fuck how his live shows sound, or who he plays with, hes just trying to get shows and a paycheck and if that means bass blaring over his own lyrics (which are supposed to be key parts to his music) then fuck it he doesnt care

Swedish fish and nas will always be linked to my OD.  After my friend shot me up, he put on some nas in the maxima and began to drive while i attempted to open a bag ov Swedish fish.  Next thing i know i'm in an ambulance with a puke bucket on my chest.  I'll always remember that when i hear nas, just like i always remember the car accident i was in(as a passenger) when hearing that hotel California song as that was playing on the Saturn's radio at the time.

I dunno i def want to watch it again, his live stuff look really great
it was a documentry with performances thrown in

they talked about how ill willl got shot before illmatic was released, illmatic took like two years to come out, i thikn i tcame out in 93,
anyway some hoodrat broke his african bambataa chain so he snuffed her lol
then a guy came back there just as he walked up and they got shot
Everyone in Nas' past got into jail and murders and stuff it was really fucked apparently in the ghetto even after nas became rich
