idk the percentages but i think a lot of the bans are just mods being human and having some sand in their vagina about something, or if a post gets flagged by another shroomerite who usually calls out posts that break the rules frequently and is trusted they may just be like "oh XXX flagged it, must be right....ban" - or mods being friends with a person who flags a post of someone they dont like would side with the friend rather than the other person


in one thread i remember making multiple racist jokes in the pub and other peoples posts got deleted by mods and a ban was handed out yet somehow they just let my posts go....then they got called out on it and were like "oh if we had seen them before we would have done something" and never even altered my posts

mods are human too and can be in good and bad moods, kinda like cops....you get pulled over at 8am for doing 80 in a 60 by a state trooper who's wife randomly gave him a morning blowjob before work....he gives you a warning.  same scenario but instead the cop had a big fight with his wife the night before, and is pissed off, writes you a ticket for speeding AND notices one of your taglights is out in the middle of the day and decides to write you an inspection notice too sucks

you guys seem to like to believe there's a lot more emotion involved in this
shit than there really is, in fact, there's very little, we look at the
previous ban history, the offense, and the interactions we've watched.
sometimes, even people that are good posters get a serious ban based on
things such as this.
